Supplier Quality Manager

Supplier Quality Manager required by an industry-leading engineering company which is undergoing significant growth. The successful Supplier Quality Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the Supplier Quality team and ensuring suppliers' compliance with company and industry standards.
Main Duties:
* Leading and managing the Supplier Quality Team.
* Managing the approval process for new suppliers.
* Overseeing supplier performance and compliance with industry standards.
* Auditing suppliers and making recommendations.
* Implementing corrective actions when required.
* Driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
* Developing and implementing supplier selection strategies.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
* A background in a similar role, gained in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally Aerospace.
* Excellent leadership skills.
* A lead auditor in ISO9001 or AS9100.
* A strong working knowledge of root cause investigation techniques.
* Expert knowledge of Aerospace quality principles and regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility to travel internationally to meet the needs of the business.
