Teaching Personnel is recruiting for an English teacher for a secondary school in West Cornwall (Camborne/Redruth area). The role is full-time, and could potentially lead to permanent placement, with the benefit of trialling the role with us first.

Key Responsibilities:
Planning, executing, and evaluating interesting and productive English classes in compliance with the national curriculum.
Establish an environment in the classroom that is welcoming and pleasant in order to encourage a love of language and books.
To address the various needs of every student, develop and apply innovative teaching techniques.
Track student development and report findings, offering guidance and helpful criticism.
To promote students' learning and growth, cultivate close bonds with parents, teachers, and other staff members.
Be a part of school events and give back to the larger school community.
Keep up to date with changes in English language instruction and incorporate newly acquired information into your lesson plans.
Essential Requirements for an English Teacher:
Relevant UK teaching qualification degree(s), namely a PGCE in Secondary English with QTS.
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Eligibility to work in the UK
Relevant teaching experience in a school setting.
Strongly committed to students' welfare.
Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills.
A flair for planning creative and effective lessons.
An enhanced Children's DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
