Seeking a Project Accountant for our client to conduct a thorough investigation into accounting issues. This engagement will focus on identifying and resolving financial discrepancies, inefficiencies, duplicate payments, missing invoices, and cut-off issues to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and validate financial records, transactions, and supporting documents.
* Perform detailed data analysis to identify irregularities.
* Engage with relevant teams to reconcile financial and operational records.
* Provide a comprehensive report detailing findings, discrepancies, and recommendations for process improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Expertise in accounting systems, particularly Access Financials would be highly desirable.
* Strong technical understanding of debits, credits, and accruals.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
