Job summary East Surrey Hospital Physiotherapy Department is a friendly, forward-thinking and innovative department with a well-established Clinical Governance programme and a focus on developing staff. The Care of the Elderly Team is responsible for the assessment, management and discharge planning of a varied and diverse clinical caseload across a range of areas. The care of the elderly team works closely with the MDT sharing clinical governance and training across the disciplines. It has a focus on quality of life for patients and quality of care. We are looking for:o A physiotherapist who has completed their junior rotations and is ready to take on increased responsibility; or, a senior physiotherapist interested in specialising or in expanding their roleo A physiotherapist who has experience working within the acute setting, managing a wide range of medical patients including the acutely unwell, discharge planning and liaising with other agencieso Flexibility in working practice within an evolving and expanding teamo A physiotherapist interested in developing their skills in supervision and leadership Main duties of the job For further information, please see the attached trust job description and person specification for a full list of duties and responsibilities.
