Sunderland City Council are seeking to recruit a Business Manager to manage the Direct Payment team and support the delivery of the service to the Adult Social Care Directorate.andnbsp; The post is permanent and the contract is for 35 hrs P/W. Discussions/applications regarding flexible working in relation to these hours are welcome.
The posts will be of interest to applicants who are skilled and experienced in working within a Business Development role in the following areas:
Direct Payments
Development and maintenance of excellent practice
Performance Management and Analysis
Development, implementation of associated policies and processes
Managing a direct payment service and providing assurance to Senior Managers and Elected Members on the quality of provision and service delivery across Adult Social Care as directed by the Head of Business Developmentandnbsp;
The successful applicant will have a wide range of transferable experience including a working knowledge of direct payments within an appropriate background. In addition excellent ICT skills, good written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work in a fast based multi-disciplinary area of work.andnbsp; Excellent organisational, prioritization and negotiation skills will be required to balance a varied and wide-ranging workload with competing priorities.
