As a Paint Technician, you’ll be tasked with carrying out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles in our new, state-of-the-art workshops. Working with all the latest equipment, you will also be responsible for minor body repair work for vehicles.
What does the role of Paint Technician involve?
* Carry out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles, as well as minor body repair work.
* Prepare paint spraying equipment and bodywork of the car.
* Maintain and clean equipment, as well as storing the paints in the correct conditions.
* Managing inventory of paints and equipment.
What do you need to succeed as a Paint Technician?
* A relevant Body and Paint Maintenance qualification City and Guilds, IMI or BTEC.
* Experience in painting but not necessarily automotive.
* It is essential that you hold a full UK drivers’ licence.
