About us
Hastoe owns and manages more than 7,500 homes across the south of England from Devon to Norfolk. We are a social housing landlord and England’s leading rural housing specialist. We deliver small housing developments in partnership with local communities although for historic reasons, we also own some housing in urban areas.
We’re passionate about providing a first-class service for our customers and our colleagues. If you are enthusiastic, pro-active and passionate about making a difference to people’s lives then we want to hear from you.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their career in governance and compliance, to work in a senior role reporting directly to the Finance Director. You will provide advice and support to the Executive Team and the Group’s Boards and Committees and lead a small team that is responsible for governance, regulatory and legal compliance, data protection, insurance and risk management.
About you

We also want to hear about your:
* Understanding of company constitutions and group governance arrangements
* Ability to work on a broad array of matters, in a role where no two days are the same
* A working knowledge of data protection legislation and good practice
* Excellent stakeholder management at all levels
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* A methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail
We recognise that this is a broad role, so you will be given both formal and informal training in the role and there will be lots of opportunity to work closely with many different departments within Hastoe.
