JOB TITLE: Oracle Core Financials Lead
REPORTING TO: UK&I Director
LOCATION: Hybrid

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
As an Oracle Core Financials lead, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who leads and implements expert services, a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems. You will work developing solutions that excel at user experience, style, performance, reliability and scalability to reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Be a key member of IT leadership in the UK & Ireland contributing to the adoption of best practices and systems to engage, enhance and promote the ABM businesses.
2. Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for Oracle Core Financials to support business objectives and growth.
3. Align Oracle Core Financial initiatives with the organization's strategic goals, ensuring the system supports long-term Finance and business strategies.
4. Drive innovation and process improvement within the Finance function through Oracle Core Financial capabilities.
5. Provide expert advice to senior leadership and Finance teams on Oracle Core Financial capabilities and best practices.
6. Work closely with senior leadership to understand business needs and translate them into Core Financial solutions.
7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and support for Core Financial initiatives.
8. Lead the integration of Oracle Core Financials with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
9. Collaborate with IT and third-party vendors to design and implement integration solutions.
10. Manage and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
11. Design and implement comprehensive Oracle Core Financials solutions that meet business requirements and enhance Finance processes.
12. Develop detailed technical specifications and workflows to guide system development and customization.
13. Lead a team of Oracle Core Financial professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Oracle Financials Cloud Core SME knowledge, with experience of leading 2-3 Core Financial Cloud implementations across all phases of the project lifecycle.
2. Oracle Core Financials Cloud lead with experience in solution delivery of at least 3 Oracle Cloud implementations including the following phases: requirements, fit/gap analysis, solution design, SIT, UAT, training and deployment.
3. Must have hands-on configuration experience in delivering the Cloud Financial modules including security and be able to drive requirements gathering in all areas.
4. Detailed knowledge of configuring all types of Oracle Cloud Financial structures, workflows, security, DFFs, ability to use Data Loaders etc.
5. Experience of other Finance modules recommended.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Desired Oracle Certification on Core Financials.
