Description
You will join a team of attorneys in the Commercial Legal group who advise and support Apple’s global sales organisations, including global consumer sales, AppleCare, Apple business values. You will partner with sales, our product teams and other specialist legal teams to provide commercial legal support and also analyse the applicability of broad regulatory developments impacting the sales organisation. This includes environmental/repair related, consumer credit and accessibility developments. You will also support on regulatory matters impacting commercial transactions including insurance and credit related issues. You will coordinate and drive commercial transactions and engage with various stakeholders across Apple to deliver sales objectives. You will provide commercial insights and support on litigation and ongoing investigations if affecting the sales teams you support. As we navigate Generative AI and its use within the sales organisation, you will work with and support the use of technology for third parties, internal Apple users and our channel partners and networks.
Minimum Qualifications
* 4+ years of relevant legal experience advising on commercial and regulatory matters and negotiating and drafting contracts
* JD or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
* Creative problem-solver with the business acumen to resolve complex issues in creative and efficient ways to deliver transactions
* Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, excellent time management and organizational skills, comfortable with healthy debate, and able to handle a variety of matters at once in a fast-paced environment
* Demonstrated ability to successfully build relationships and work with cross-functional teams, including sales, product marketing, other legal teams and business teams to build great customer-facing products and features
* Experience with international legal and regulatory compliance, insurance, consumer protection, consumer finance and AIML desirable
