The Role: As an experienced professional in sales and business development, you’ll be quick to adapt to new situations and bring your knowledge and experience to join our highly talented and passionate cloud transformation team. You’ll be at the forefront of some of the most exciting, complex, and leading-edge sales opportunities.
At KPMG, your role is key in delivering our growth strategy and responsible for selling the full portfolio of Cloud solutions to clients across markets. The Business Development Manager (BDM) role involves:
1. Secure and foster relationships with CIO-level clients to uncover cloud transformation opportunities.
2. Build relationships and be a trusted advisor to our clients regarding KPMG’s Cloud Transformation propositions.
3. Drive collaboration with consulting teams to qualify opportunities and lead pursuits, especially around our implementation services.
4. Work with consulting teams to define market-leading, client-focused Cloud propositions.
5. Maintain regular communication with the wider business development team and ensure targets are met.
6. Collaborate with pre-sales technologists to help clients shape compelling technology solutions with cloud.
The Person:
1. Collaborative and client-focused, enjoying helping clients shape their technology needs and working constructively with peers and colleagues in multi-disciplinary sales pursuits.
2. Caring about team development and helping increase skills around sales processes, especially for those from deep technology backgrounds.
3. Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large and complex clients.
4. Successful track record in selling high-end, project-based, professional consulting services, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
5. Good understanding of cloud services, architectures, challenges, benefits, and industry trends.
6. Experience in crafting and executing strategic and tactical plans to close large revenue opportunities.
7. Passionate about market engagement and building relationships with clients.
8. Able to execute disciplined sales processes.
9. Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Experience with public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions.
