Overview Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for a Plumber on behalf of a well-know and successful Building Services and M&E contractor. Established over 75 years, they have over 70 members of staff working for them. They work in a range of sectors including healthcare, leisure, commercial, retail, education and industrial. They a large portfolio of clients including NHS, Humberside Police, Cargills, CBRE, Crown Paints etc. As the Plumber, you will be involved with installations, routine maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in the commercial and retail sector. This is a permanent position, covering Hull and surrounding areas, and is paying £18 - £19 per hour depending on experience. The standard working hours are 7am – 2:30pm. Overtime is paid at time and a half and after 6 hours on a Saturday it goes to double time. Responsibilities Installation work. Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM’s are completed within the contract defined time SLA’s & KPI’s. Fault diagnosing / troubleshooting. Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer. Working to relevant Health & Safety Practices while on site. Ensure that any work carried out is compliant with relevant legislation and is in line with contract SLAs. Skills & Attributes Have a relevant plumbing qualification. Experience working within FM or the building services industry. Ability to work independently and unsupervised. Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades. Good customer service skills. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
