The Role:
As the Social Media Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's global social media presence, which includes a large following of over 600,000 people. The role will involve developing and implementing both organic and paid social media strategies, with a focus on expanding the brand's reach, increasing engagement, and meeting key performance indicators. You will also be responsible for reporting and analysing results to continually optimise the strategy.
In addition, the role involves overseeing the creation of engaging and diverse content across various formats, including written posts, photography, and video. The content will be crafted to appeal to a wide customer base and support customer loyalty, reflecting the company's core values in all social media interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's global social media channels, engaging with an audience of over 600,000.
Develop and execute best-in-class social media strategies, incorporating both organic and paid campaigns to enhance brand presence.
Take ownership of reporting and analysis, using insights to shape future campaigns and strategies.
Oversee the creation of compelling content across different media formats, ensuring it appeals to various customer personas.
Collaborate with the Social Community Executive, providing support and guidance where necessary.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in managing social media channels, with expertise in both organic and paid strategies.
Creative flair, with the ability to contribute to content development throughout the process.
Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Capable of handling multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Passion for staying up to date with social media trends, tools, and innovations.
Analytical mindset, with experience in tracking, reporting, and interpreting social media metrics.
Previous experience in managing global social media accounts.
