Job Summary
The Digital and Data Dept are looking to recruit a highly motivated Asset and Contracts Clerk on a fixed term basis for 6 months. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to learn how the Digital and Data dept works within Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Trust. You will be part of a hardworking and dedicated team, responsible for providing access to many technical and clinical systems used by the trust. The successful candidate will be focused and have an analytical approach to ensure that accounts, licenses, and permissions are granted to a varied group of staff employed by the trust. High levels of concentration and communication are essential to ensure accuracy at all times.
Main Duties of the Job
You will be part of the Asset Management team based within digital and data services, working alongside dedicated colleagues in this demanding role. You will gain insight into many areas of Information Technology that could highlight a new career path.
* Provide a comprehensive high-quality administration service to the Asset Management Team.
* Support all business processes relating to smartphones across the Trust including ID checking.
* Create and amend system accounts for a variety of electronic Trust systems, including processing of student, temporary and medical staff bulk account requests and issuing of desktop licenses.
* Support the distribution and management of virtual smartcards within the organisation.

Band: Band 3
Salary: £24,071 to £25,674 a year per annum

Qualifications
Essential:
* Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale and/or GCSE Maths and English.
Desirable:
* ECDL (or equivalent)
Experience
Essential:
* Experience of working within an office administration environment.
* Experience of using Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
* Experience of working within a customer service environment.
* Experience of dealing with systems accounts in a secure environment.
Desirable:
* Work experience within NHS environment.
* Experience of using help desk systems.
* Experience of participation in service and quality improvement initiatives.
* Experience of using Cardea or similar procurement and/or purchasing system.
Knowledge
Essential:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Understanding of confidentiality and the associated legal and policy requirements.
* Knowledge of administrative procedures and the ability to undertake associated tasks ensuring adherence to defined procedures and guidelines.
* Knowledge of system account management procedures.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of quality improvement system approach(es).
* Knowledge of MS TEAMS, web chat, and other virtual communication tools.
