Job summary Promote a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the Trusts, ensuring good standards of Health and Safety are implemented and maintained across a large complex acute NHS Trust. Monitor and review legislative compliance, and the continuing development and provision of a safe environment for staff, patients, and the public. Proficiently undertaking a program of audits relating to manual handling and back care. Provide specialist advice and support to all levels of staff on Health and Safety management regarding area of expertise, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice. Undertake accident and incident investigation, evaluating trends for thematic learning, prevention, and improvement. Identify specific Health and Safety training needs relating to manual handling and back care, producing, and delivering appropriate training packages throughout the organization to a wide audience/staff group.
