Eagle Automation is a £8.0M turnover company and a market leader in the supply and service of high security gates, barriers and access control systems.
Due to year-on-year growth, Eagle is seeking gate and barrier engineers with an electro-mechanical background and some experience in a service and maintenance role.
The territory for this role is North / East Midlands; therefore, the ideal candidate will be based in Nottingham or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Repair and Maintenance of a wide range of automated security products (sliding gates, hinged gate barriers, blockers, bollards, and control panels, etc.)
2. Installation of new or replacement products, where required.
3. Carry out fault diagnosis to identify and replace components that are faulty.
4. Testing of systems to ensure they set and operate correctly.
5. Complete a nine-point force test and report any failure immediately to the office.
6. Accurately complete site-related reports for Repairs and Maintenance to assist with quoting additional works, where required.
7. Display a proactive, can-do attitude within the organisation, with a culture of right first time and ownership of problems.
8. Assist with growing the business by proactively visiting clients and sites to offer our services.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
1. Hydraulic and electro-mechanical experience is required (you must have an electro-mechanical background and ideally hold a relevant qualification in either mechanical, electrical, or electronics).
2. Experience within a remote and site-based role.
3. Strong technical background with the ability to fault find, diagnose, and carry out repairs.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Excellent customer service skills.
6. Full clean license with less than 6 points.
7. Flexible approach to work - willing to travel within your designated area and rarely, further afield to support the business requirements.
