Join AZAD as a Business Analyst and provide business and risk analysis support to the Safety Organization Internal Operations. This Business Analyst position will coordinate with Subject Matter Experts in the Safety Organization, its stakeholders, and various department representatives to analyze the Safety Organization business model framework for alignment with agency goals and safety strategic initiatives through analysis of collected data, policy and program reviews, and assessment of incidents and safety concerns. This position will apply technical business and risk analysis expertise to identify early indicators of presented hazards and support the agency in taking proactive measures in risk mitigation to prevent harm to its employees and business partners. This position will also support benchmarking studies that identify and recommend implementation of consensus best practices and methodologies into work planning that ensure the organization accomplishes its business strategic goals.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Vancouver, WA with onsite 3 days weekly. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is $32.20 - $47.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
1. An associate or bachelor's degree in data science, data analytics, business analytics, data modeling, business mathematics, statistics, risk management, risk analysis, safety & occupational health, or a closely related technical discipline is preferred.
2. 5 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.
3. 7 years of experience is required with an applicable associate degree.
4. 9 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.
5. Formal training (college level communications, English, technical writing) or related coursework can qualify as relevant years of experience. Resume must include a detailed list of the specific classes being claimed as "qualifying".
6. Experience should include a combination of work-related experience on-the-job training and/or vocational training and should be consistent with the specific requirements as listed in the tasks above and progressively more technical in nature.
7. Proficiency in the use of a business and/or management system and associated database software programs utilized to establish and maintain data analysis and effective technical analytical recordkeeping skills is required.
8. Proficiency in the use of Adobe Acrobat Pro and the full Microsoft Office applications for the purposes of creating Access database, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Visio diagrams, charts, workflows, diagrams, and various miscellaneous materials into a professional published form is required.
9. Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
Must be able to pass a federal criminal background and drug screening.
