SEEMiS Group is a unique software development organisation, owned and managed by all 32 Scottish local authorities delivering a national Education Management Information System (MIS). Working closely with its members and strategic bodies responsible for the direction of education in Scotland, the organisation is charged with developing and continually improving its products and services to support Local Authorities and associated schools to deliver statutory and discretionary responsibilities.
Job description
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Helpdesk/Acceptance-Into-Service Administrator to supplement our current team.
You will be involved in providing frontline first level support for all SEEMiS applications to end users in schools and local authorities and, when necessary, contributing to the acceptance-into-service process for system enhancements/additions.
Knowledge and experience of the SEEMiS MIS system and/or the education sector is essential. Candidates must have experience in using an Educational MIS system or frontline Helpdesk experience. Please note that candidates without this experience will not be eligible to apply for this post.
Hours: 35 hours
Vacancy: Permanent
Salary: Grade 1 Level 4 (£26, - £26,)
Location: SEEMiS Group LLP, Floor 14, Council Offices, Almada Street, Hamilton, ML3 0AA.
