You will interact with a highly integrated, multi-disciplinary team of professionals throughout Europe, North America and Australia, and will provide leadership and client development, specifically related to geological modelling, resource estimation and mineral reporting services in the mining industry. Lead geological modelling, data validation, resource estimation and mineral resource reporting efforts for mining sector clients Leading geostatistical analysis, quality control analysis, due diligence and database management Hiring, managing, training and mentoring of early- and mid-career staff Field work: Up to 10% Overnight travel: Up to 20% Bachelor's degree in geology or engineering geology, or a related field of study (required) Advanced degree in a related field of study (preferred) Professional Affiliation (e.g., GSL, AusIMM, IMMM etc) (required) Professional registration (e.g. CGeol). (required) High standard of technical geological and ore forming processes knowledge across a broad range of typical commodities At least 10 years (15 preferred) of experience working in a consulting environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) A strong track record in business development, including proposals leadership, and stewarding and building client relationships with repeat business. (required) Significant experience performing and leading Mineral Resource Estimation and reporting services related to the mining sector (required) Ability to act as QP/CP in accordance with international standards (e.g. NI 43-101, JORC) (required) Experience managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management. (required) Excellent writing and communication skills. (required) A high degree of proficiency with geological modelling and geostatistical software (Datamine, Isatis, Leapfrog, etc.) (required) Experience with Microsoft Office products. (required) Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred) Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
