SEN Teaching Assistant | ASAP
Location: Willesden, Brent
Full-time, 5 days per week

Teach Plus are currently working with a ‘Good' school in the heart of Willesden. The school's aim is to enable all pupils to learn and to reach their full potential throughout their time at the school.
The school also believes it is very important to equip all pupils with the skills to become valuable members of the local community and to have aspirations for their futures.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you would follow the school's strong beliefs in the importance of education to all children at the school.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to:
* Follow the class teacher and SENCO's direction in supporting the child both inside and outside the classroom
* Work on a permanent contract providing support for pupils either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups under the direction of the Head of Learning Support
* Work with children who have SEND & SEMH needs.
* Ensure the child feels supported and safe by having a warm and nurturing approach
The ideal candidate for a SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
* Experience working with children
* Ideally, experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis
* The ability to build rapport with the child and respond to the child's individual needs
* Experience delivering lessons tailored to children's needs as outlined in their individual education plan
