This high-quality country house hotel in Derbyshire is looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join their successful brigade of 6.
The hotel offers an award-winning fine dine restaurant and has a busy wedding trade, utilizing local suppliers and producing an award-winning menu using the best produce available depending on availability and seasonality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head Chef in running the kitchen
2. Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
3. Develop and implement new menu ideas
4. Manage kitchen staff and maintain a positive team environment
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Passion for food and commitment to quality
