We're looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate 1-to-1 Teaching Assistant to support a year 1 pupil with autism and social, emotional mental health at a bustling primary school in Stratford Upon Avon. Key Responsibilities: Be the guiding light for a year 1 student with Autism and social, emotional mental health, offering tailored support both inside and outside the classroom. Assist with academic tasks, from organization to comprehension, ensuring no challenge is too big to conquer. Champion the social and emotional growth of our student, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment. Collaborate with our stellar team of educators to craft individualized education plans and effective behaviour management strategies. Requirements: Experience working with students with Autism or special educational needs. Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and its impact on learning and behaviour. Patience, empathy, and adaptability to support our diverse student body. Strong communication skills to build bridges between students, teachers, and parents effortlessly. Qualifications in education or special educational needs (SEN) are a bonus, but passion and dedication are what truly shine. The pay for SEND Teaching Assistant starts from £95.29 minimum per day and is in-keeping with the experience of each individual candidate.
