Position: Religious Education (RE) Teacher

Full Time: 8:30-3:30
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to start in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students, encouraging them to explore and understand various religious beliefs, values, and traditions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality RE lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and understanding of diverse religious perspectives.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
5. Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
7. A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field.
8. Experience teaching RE at secondary school level is preferred.
9. Strong knowledge of various world religions and ethical issues.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
12. The right to work in the UK.
13. Has or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
14. Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
15. Strong organisational and time-management skills
16. Demonstrated commitment to education and personal growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
