What are we looking for? We're seeking a Senior Marketing Propositions Manager to join our Marketing team. At Skyscanner, we're on a mission to help every traveller to explore our world effortlessly. As we continue to grow the audience we serve, we must focus on building relationships with our travellers that create reasons for them to return directly, time and time again. We're looking for an experienced marketeer to shape, define and deliver our retention strategy, creating reasons for our travellers to have direct relationships with us, drive retention and increase customer lifetime value. In this role, you'll be responsible for defining how we talk about our new and existing retention propositions and creating new propositions for our travellers to engage with. This is a brilliant opportunity where you'll have the chance to add value to every aspect of the traveller experience - from helping travellers explore and find the best deals, to market-leading features that support travellers as they plan their trip. It's a global role that spans each of our products - flights, hotels and cars. You'll be an expert in retention propositions, with experience in bringing those propositions to market in a way which is traveller (customer) first and focuses on delivering a strong customer experience. What you'll be doing Retention Strategy - Deliver against the Skyscanner retention strategy, identifying opportunities alongside our Product teams, to develop propositions that create compelling reasons to engage directly in a relationship with Skyscanner. Understand our travellers - In collaboration with our research team, you will understand our traveller needs and ensure that we create propositions that will be valuable for those travellers now and in the future. Opportunities - You will review existing propositions and look for opportunities to improve how we communicate these propositions to travellers. Insights / Analysis - Provide retention insights on how our propositions encourage our travellers to engage, spend and interact with Skyscanner and spot new ideas to improve this further. Deals - Lead on deals propositions, creating a coherent approach to how we market deals across flights, hotels and cars to make it easy for travellers to understand and for marketing teams to execute. Collaboration - Work in partnership with our Product and Commercial teams to agree the retention and deals roadmap and approach to sourcing and delivery Performance tracking - Lead on setting goals for the propositions within your remit, monitoring and tracking performance against them. Subject Matter Expert - Be the subject matter expert for the Marketing function on our retention propositions performance. Skills and experience required You are a creative and big picture thinker, with capacity to get into the detail to ensure we are doing the right thing. You can think outside the box and get creative with new ideas. You have a drive to make things better - always looking for whats next and never settling for the status quo. Highly effective collaborator, able to work cross functionally, spotting opportunities to get things done, even with teams outside of your direct influence. Able to use data and insights to ground decision making, you are skilled at interpreting data and research to inform proposition and messaging development. Strong analytical skills, with experience in understanding long-term customer value and trading off investment decisions.
