As a Developer Services Advisor, you’ll join our team who help to connect our clean water networks to new property developments. You could be helping with small scale developments through to the biggest residential, industrial or commercial expansion sites within our network regions. You’ll get involved with projects like new connections to water mains, mains diversions or new water services. As a business, we’re measured by Water UK and OFWAT on how long it takes us to respond and the quality of service we provide to our property and land developer customers. So, you’ll use your passion for delivering excellent customer service and your ability to see the job through to conclusion to help provide a 10/10 experience first time, every time. Previous experience in a similar role would be welcomed but not essential. It’s your ability to guide customers through to the best outcome that will make the difference here. There’s plenty of support and training available. You just need to be willing to learn what it takes to provide a first class experience to our developer customers. In this role, you’ll answer calls from developers, log new applications, respond to queries and schedule work for inspector visits. You’ll work 37 hours per week as a full-time colleague between our opening hours of 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday. This is a role where you’ll stay focused on helping us to get the work completed within the timescales required. This means you’re someone who likes to take responsibility for your results and listens well to find out what your customers need. You’ll handle telephone enquiries from our Developer customers You ensure all applications for new water services or connections are logged correctly. You ensure our work management system is updated following each interaction You’ll provide advice and guidance for developers for new connections and mains requisitions You’ll support the estimators with administrative side of creating new services You’ll ensure all payments are processed and logged correctly. What do you bring to the role? You’ll have 5 GCSE grades 4 and above (or equivalent) You’ll have previous experience and be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service You’ll have an interest in the Water Industry and/or engineering What can you expect from us?
