We are looking for a Pivot Steer/Bendi/Lift Truck Operator on a permanent basis for our client in Camberley.
Basic salary: £27,000 to £30,000
Working Times: Monday - Friday
Holiday entitlement: 20 days + Bank Holidays (length of Stay Bonus)
Company Based: Camberley
Duties:
1. Safely operate pivot steer forklifts to move goods around the warehouse sites
2. Load and unload trucks, vans, and containers
3. Fill and maintain Pickfaces
4. Stack and retrieve products in 10m high-bay racking areas with precision
5. Manoeuvre through narrow aisles and confined spaces
6. Ensure products are stored correctly, preventing damage
7. Load racks within weight, height and load specs
8. Perform pre-inspection of materials being transported for damage, reporting discrepancies to the supervisor
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and operational standards when operating machinery
10. Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure safe and proper functioning of forklifts
11. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs of the lift truck to the supervisor
12. Comply with all relevant health and safety guidelines
13. Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
14. Follow inventory management guidelines for the correct storage of materials
15. Assist in regular stock checks and inventory audits
16. Maintain accurate records of all product movements within the WMS
17. Ensure that all relevant paperwork and inventory systems are up-to-date
18. Work closely with warehouse colleagues and managers to ensure efficient operations
19. Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including picking and packing
