As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in managing our purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll processes to ensure smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities ? Process purchase invoices with accuracy and timeliness? Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies? Conduct bank reconciliations across multiple accounts? Assist with payroll processing, pensions, and statutory payments? Maintain up-to-date purchase ledger records ? Support month-end processes (accruals, prepayments, VAT returns)? Liaise with suppliers and clients to resolve queries? Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices What We’re Looking For ? AAT Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) ? Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role? Strong knowledge of purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll ? Proficiency in Sage 50, Xero, AutoEntry, or Bright Pay ? Excellent attention to detail and accuracy ? Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset? Competency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications What We Offer ??
