Remuneration: £50,000 - £65,000
We have a great opportunity for someone to join this expanding team! Our client is looking for someone who lives and breathes fire door safety. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge about fire doors, from installation to costs of supplies, and the ability to build and manage a team of engineers while ensuring compliance with other fire contractors.
The role of the Project Manager - Fire Doors / Passive Fire Protection will involve:
1. Project Management overseeing fire door installations, fire door remedials, fire stopping, fire barriers, and drylining projects.
2. Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Resourcing and helping to grow the team.
4. Ensuring that works are completed safely and to the required standards.
5. Preparing method statements, RAMS, and H&S documents.
6. Regularly liaising with clients and resolving any issues that arise.
7. Maintaining a good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation.
8. Attending site meetings as required.
9. Managing projects ranging in value from £1k to £500k.
The ideal applicant will be a Project Manager - Fire Doors / Passive Fire Protection with:
1. 3+ years of Project Management experience within the fire doors / passive fire protection market sector.
2. Sound technical understanding of fire doors and doorsets.
3. IT savvy (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel).
4. SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
5. Ideally possessing 3rd party accreditations (BMTrada / LPCB / Firas).
6. A hard worker ready to get involved.
7. High levels of organization.
8. An ambitious individual who wants to build a career.
