Aspiring Youth Worker
This role is ideal if you have experience in SEN, a psychology, crimimology or sociology degree and, have career aspirations to become a Youth Worker.

We are looking for a dedicated Aspiring Youth Worker to supporting children with moderate learning difficulties and, additional mental health needs. This school is based in Eastbourne for children aged 8-16 and, has speciailised in SEMH to provide exceptional education and support for traumatised children and young people.
You will be helping children who have come from trauma/neglected backgrounds, challenging behaviour, ADHD or Autism and also have developed mental health issues due to their needs and require additional support with improving social, emotional and mental well-being.

Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students.
Behaviour and pastoral support.
Take an active role in forward planning with therapists.
Practical approach to meet the individual needs of students.
Willing to work 1:1 and in small groups with students.
Ensure safeguarding of students, in line with procedures.
Attend staff meetings and complete appropriate CPD.Requirements of an Aspiring Youth Worker:
