Your new company
You will be working for a large local authority and be supporting their Oracle Implementation for Oracle Fusion.
Your new role
1. You will be working as a senior level interim and have strong systems accountant/manager experience to support their Chief Accountant (DS151) in the design of the organisation's chart of accounts, including the finance data structure, cost centres, organisation structure, and posting rules for the organisation's finance systems.
2. You will also advise and support in the preparation, reporting, and monitoring of revenue/capital budgets and final accounts.
3. Responsibility for advising and assisting on the Oracle implementation Programme and Income Management System project to ensure successful delivery.
4. Be a key interface between the Oracle Finance and HR systems team and the Chief Accountant and Deputy S151.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience of Oracle Fusion implementation.
2. Experience of reviewing a chart of accounts set up and creating a clear and easy process to map how things get coded and mapped in Oracle Fusion.
3. Qualified accountant.
4. Experience of local authority systems accounting and ideally financial accounting.

There are 2 days per week of working on site in Birmingham to work with the wider project team and embed yourself within the project. Working at a senior level with the DS151. Excellent day rate of £600-700 p/day Umbrella (Inside IR35).
