Maths Lecturer Contract: Full-time, Temporary Salary: £25-£35 per hour including holiday pay Location: Bedfordshire A college in Bedfordshire is seeking a Maths Lecturer to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. The role involves teaching a mixture of GCSE and A Level Maths, in addition to tutoring responsibilities. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students at GCSE and A Level. Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum requirements. Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback. Act as a tutor, providing additional support and guidance to students as needed. Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching methods and student learning experiences. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum. Required Skills & Qualifications: Level 3 qualification or higher in a Maths-related subject. Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Proven experience in teaching GCSE and A Level Maths. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
