Reporting to the Director of Legal & Commercial Affairs, you will be working as part of a small team focussing on all aspects of the Company’s commercial business including tape and format distribution, publishing, consumer products, digital and sponsorship. The ideal candidate will have some commercial experience in the media sector, preferably in IP/ brand management. They will be flexible, collaborative and used to working in fast-paced commercial environment. Proficient in Power Point and Excel, with a good working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Pro. This role requires being in the office 4 days a week. Commercial exploitation Identifying and engaging with potential licensees Assessing proposals and negotiating basic deal terms with commercial partners Product approval, including samples, designs, packaging, logos and copyright notices Managing day to day relationship with distributors and licensees Working with agents to secure talent engagement Liaising with internal staff to obtain editorial approval and buy-in Working with Legal & Business Affairs department to paper agreed deals Brand management Creating brand decks including audience data, press and market research Assisting in the creation and development of style guides; logos and other branding elements Assisting legal team in trademark registration and IP infringements Rights analysis and updating/ maintaining relevant databases Revenue and IP Management Working with distributors, licensees and finance department to ensure timely reporting and updated commercial P/L Distributor and licensee performance tracking and analysis Maintaining and updating commercial tracker for deal completion and execution Other Advising contributors on commercial protocols and assisting in post-tx contributor care Assisting in new business opportunities eg. on social, gaming and FAST distribution Liaison between production and distributor for set-visits, delivery of promotional/ marketing materials and YouTube clip distribution Assisting in diary management, internal audits and preparation of board papers as required
