Cubiq Technology are collaborating with a market-leading smart sensing and software company in seeking a Divisional Managing Director to manage and develop a subsidiary division.
Purpose:
This role involves delivering strategic, financial, and other objectives as agreed with the Board, and taking overall responsibility for the management of all current activities, development, and implementation of future strategy for the division.
Responsibilities:
* Achieve divisional revenue and profit targets in alignment with Group goals
* Formulate and execute a rolling three-year plan and a long-term strategic vision for the division
* Lead and manage the divisional team, including department heads, senior management, office staff, site managers, sales staff, and operatives
* Oversee the division's budget and ensure cost management
* Prepare and present budgets and strategic plans to the CEO/CFO and Board
* Set and achieve targets for the division in collaboration with the management team
* Represent the division in the market sector and maintain industry connections
* Ensure smooth business operations, balancing opportunities and risks
* Implement strategies and processes to meet company targets
* Chair monthly divisional management meetings and make key decisions
* Comply with all reporting requirements and keep the CEO and CFO informed of significant opportunities or risks
* Ensure the division adheres to company policies and procedures
* Deliver exceptional customer care within the division
* Lead regular management meetings and ensure all departments are performing to target
* Communicate the division’s performance and future strategy to all staff
* Identify and develop staff for future career progression in collaboration with HR
Requirements:
* Degree qualified (engineering/technical background preferred) with at least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role
* Cross-functional management experience
* Strong reputation with clients and proven P&L responsibility with a successful track record
* Knowledge of the motion capture landscape, including technological developments and future trends
* Experience in motion capture or related technologies is preferred
* Proven track record in growth, leadership, and business policy implementation in a multinational environment
* Willingness to gain a working knowledge of the company’s products and services
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the division
