The Trust seeks to appoint 4 fixed term Consultant Anaesthetists to provide additional cover for a new Vanguard Theatre. This is a fixed term, 2-year consultant post.
The new appointee will share the case-load, facilities and trainee grade support with the existing consultants.
In conjunction with the existing consultants, the appointee will lead developments in anaesthetic services, particularly trauma anaesthesia within the Trust.
This post will be based at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow and will be responsible for providing high quality, responsive Anaesthetic service/Peri operative care to The Princess Alexandra Hospital, assuming responsibility for the patients within the catchment area in co-operation with Consultant colleagues in Anaesthetics and other clinical departments.
Main duties of the job
This Locum post will be based at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow and will be responsible for providing high quality Anaesthesia services to The Princess Alexandra Hospital, assuming responsibility for the patients within the catchment area in co-operation with Consultant colleagues in Anaesthetics and other clinical departments. Experience in Ophthalmology Anaesthesia is an advantage.

2. FRCA or equivalent/ CCT (or equivalent) with entry on Specialist Register for Anaesthesia
