Position: Maths Teacher
1. Location: North of Sheffield - Picturesque Rural Setting
2. Contract: Long-term Temporary (October 2024 to April 2025)
3. Potential Extension: Into the Summer Term or Permanent Role
4. Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
5. Pay: Excellent rates, dependent on your pay scale
Key Responsibilities:
6. Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to secondary school students.
7. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and achievement.
8. Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
9. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Maths curriculum.
10. Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the overall educational experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
11. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position.
12. Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
13. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for making Maths accessible and enjoyable for students.
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
15. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
