Overview of the role
You’ll be responsible for teaching students from various ages and abilities the importance of physical activity and promoting healthy lifestyles. You’ll also be involved in organising and leading extra-curricular activities such as sports teams, fitness clubs, and other events that promote physical education.
The right candidate will have:
1. Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
2. Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g a degree in Sports Science or similar)
3. Ability to deliver engaging PE lessons and promote a love for a range of sports and physical activities
4. Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for PE
5. Enthusiasm and commitment to extra-curricular PE activities for the enrichment of learners and the wider school community
