Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist with significant post registration experience to join the leadership structure within the physiotherapy team in the Cardiff Community Resource Team. The post holder will be required to have a broad range of rehabilitation skills and experience of working within a community setting.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to carry a varied and complex caseload, lead a team of registered and non-registered physiotherapy staff while also working effectively as part of the wider MDT within CRT.
The successful candidate will need to:
* have broad experience of working within Physiotherapy services delivering rehabilitation across community settings
* be professionally responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of high-quality services and daily management of staff and workflow
* work in collaboration with the existing Physiotherapy Team Leads within the service to manage patient waiting lists and workloads
* provide expert clinical supervision, support and advice to staff
* contribute to data collection and analysis
* have excellent organisational, communication and influencing skills
* collaborate closely with key leaders/managers to identify areas for service development and improvement
* act as an expert for physiotherapists and other members of the MDT
* be able to adapt and flex to meet the service demands
* work flexibly across a 7 day rota
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
The option of full or part time hours will be considered for this post.

Qualifications
* Recognised qualification degree / equivalent in physiotherapy
* HCPC registration
* Specialist training/courses to Postgraduate Diploma level or relevant experience
* Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
* Evidence of M level learning or relevant higher-level qualification and experience

* Significant post registration clinical experience in a physiotherapy position at senior level within the specialist area
* Experience of providing clinical supervision
* Evidence of clinical leadership and assisting in planning and developing of an existing service.
* Experience of teaching other disciplines
* Experience as working as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Experience of health promotion
* Experience of presenting to a range of audiences
* Involvement in developing professional practice, and transforming service delivery
