From early 2025 this company will not only manage their own members scheme but that of another organisation, as they onboard their first client. Just imagine all the new exciting data to ensure data quality and report on.
Within your role you will manage the production of the following key routine reports to ensure they are accurate and delivered on time:
1. Monthly and annual provision of Longevity Swap reports and analysis.
2. Regular reporting to Pension Regulator.
3. Quarterly and annual member movement summaries.
4. Actuarial Valuation extract – annual data extract to support the actuarial valuation.
5. Support and manage the wider operational reporting requirements for member data.
This will include logging all data requests, ensuring requests are made correctly having been specified, and producing reports in accordance with these requirements. Manage a reporting catalogue to ensure all data reports are managed and stored correctly in order that they can be referenced and used for future reports as required. Proactively identify, document, and review opportunities for improvement in procedures, processes, and standards; execute implementation of improvements. Monitor and coach team to meet objectives. Prepare, coordinate and conduct performance appraisals, and counsel employees on career and performance with support from the Head of Member Data Management. Working closely with the Head of Member Data Management, you will also offer support, collaboration, and feed into data cleanse projects.
To undertake this super opportunity, you must understand pension scheme reporting requirements, scheme data, and pension scheme system administration, and ideally have worked with Defined Benefit pension schemes. You have strong investigative and comprehension skills, good attention to detail, are not afraid to work to deadlines and able to juggle workloads as needed. You are a strong communicator, with good interpersonal and communication skills, alongside very strong IT, Microsoft Office skills, and Excel skills.
