We'd like you to join us as a Night Support Worker at our service Fir Tree Lodge in Surrey.
Situated in Caterham, Surrey, Fir Tree Lodge supports people with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge. The Service is made up of 6 self-contained flats that are spacious and furnished to a high specification, with well equipped kitchens and a living/dining areas. The flats have been fully refurbished and renovated to meet the needs of residents who have various physical and complex needs. Parking is available at the service.
We're situated close to local amenities with excellent public transport links allowing us to provide supervised travel when needed.
We look after the person as a whole, caring for their wants and needs, both physically and emotionally, fostering an environment of personal growth, inclusion, honesty and integrity, leading our residents to live the most rewarding lives.
What you'll be working:
* Full Time Hours
* 42 Hours
* Waking Nights
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting our clients with daily activities
* Supporting our clients with their care plans, to enable them to achieve their lifestyle goals
* Ensure the client feels safe, and stable within their day to day care
* Personal Care (if required)
* Administrating medication (if required)
* Support service users with physical disabilities, using trained techniques and aids e.g. hoists, wheelchairs, modified bathing equipment
What you'll have:
* Strong organisational, time management, planning and communication skills.
* Flexible, professional, and positive approach to multi-site working.
* Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.
* Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
* Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations
* Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
