Cromer Group Practice are pleased to be looking to recruit a prescribing nurse to join their team on a full-time basis, for 37.5 hours per week. This role will support the duty GP and be required to regularly undertake patient home and care home visits.
Main duties of the job
* Undertaking health assessments, administering medication and treatments, and performing diagnostic tests.
* Providing and evaluating a range of health interventions to ensure that patients' health and social care needs are met.
* Delivering a high standard of patient care, using advanced autonomous clinical skills, and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base.
* Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients' conditions, initiating direct referrals as appropriate.
* As an independent prescriber: prescribing safe, effective and appropriate medication as defined by current legislative framework.
* As a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be supporting and caring for a diverse patient group.

We are a supportive forward-thinking GP training practice with a happy reliable workforce, providing care to approximately 12,500 patients. We have a strong emphasis on high-quality patient care, education, and personal development. We are made up of four GP partners, three salaried GPs, a practice nursing team of five nurses, and two nurse practitioners. We are a hybrid practice with a pharmacy attached to the surgery.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Be a registered general practice nurse (currently registered with the NMC).
* Hold a recognised ANP qualification at master's level.
* Able to work as an independent nurse prescriber.
Experience
* Able to work with a high degree of autonomy and be confident in leading in a variety of settings.
* Forward-thinking and strive to develop innovative ideas and new ways of working that address the health needs of the practice while motivating and encouraging others to do the same.
* Be an excellent communicator and collaborator; you will embrace opportunities to work and liaise across multi-professional and agency boundaries in the interests of improving patient outcomes.
