An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reliability Engineer to join a world class manufacturing organisation based in Staffordshire.
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the reliability and dependability of all plant machinery and equipment on site.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform data analysis across all machines to predict and control failures.
2. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.
3. Conduct FMEA (Failure modes and effects analysis) for all machines and equipment within the plant.
4. Perform root cause analysis to ensure lessons learnt and preventative maintenance planning.
5. Provide advice on technical specifications for new equipment and modifications to ensure manufacturing, maintainability, and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met.
6. Support the implementation of new digital tools within the facility.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in Siemens PLC programming/modifications.
2. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) within an engineering-related discipline.
3. Previous experience in plant maintenance, reliability, and preventative maintenance.
4. Knowledge of reliability engineering processes (FMEA, Fault Tree, Statistical reliability prediction).
5. Experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, automotive industry experience desirable.
