Huxley Bertram Engineering Limited is looking for an experienced and dedicated Quality Engineering Manager to lead our quality function. This is a unique opportunity to ensure the highest standards across our bespoke, high-tech systems used worldwide. As Quality Engineering Manager, you'll oversee our ISO9001 Quality System, manage the Quality Department, and work directly with engineers to produce top-tier quality documentation for client projects.

What You'll Do
As Quality Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for leading our quality initiatives and ensuring seamless quality control processes across projects. Key responsibilities include:
* Quality System Management: Maintain and continuously improve our ISO9001 Quality System.
* Team Leadership: Manage the Quality Department, including a dedicated Quality Engineer.
* Documentation & Compliance: Produce essential quality documentation (e.g., machine handbooks, FDS, technical design specifications, FMEA, quality management plans) for client projects.
* Validation Protocols: Prepare and execute FAT, SAT, DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports, particularly for pharmaceutical and medical device clients.
* Testing & Analysis: Conduct testing, manage compliance assessments, and oversee creation of deviations, investigations, and impact assessments to meet regulatory standards.
Who You Are
We're looking for a skilled quality engineer who's ready to take on a leadership role. Here's a snapshot of the qualifications and qualities we seek:
* Experience: Extensive background in quality engineering within a design and build manufacturing environment.
* Standards Knowledge: Strong experience with ISO9001 quality systems and equipment validation practices.
* Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a small team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
* Education: Degree or equivalent in engineering.
* Additional Skills: Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies, data analysis for performance tracking, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
