Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a key member of the medical specialities team, delivering high quality medicines optimisation service to patients, whilst developing effective working relationships within the multidisciplinary setting. They will be the lead for the medical wards and liaising with the relevant teams including consultants & ward managers.
The post holder will be involved in the training and development of rotational pharmacists and Medicines Management Technicians within the team.
It is expected that the successful applicant will be an experienced clinical pharmacist with substantial experience in providing clinical pharmacy services to acute medicines and who has successfully completed a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy, is an independent prescriber or working towards this.
