Account Executive – Practice Area Subscriptions
Due to our ambitious growth plans we are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Practice Area Subscriptions team.
This role will require account management skills, as well as skills in upselling and closing new business opportunities across our portfolio of market leading products. The successful candidate will have exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills and a tenacious approach to upselling and renewing our global clients via telephone/screen share presentations and email communications.
Selling to top tier law firms, in-house legal counsel at global corporations, and multiple legal personas, the ideal candidate will be confident, presentable and have impeccable communication skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven and ambitious salesperson with a track record of exceeding targets, to join our high-performing Account Management team.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop good relationships with existing customers monitoring their purchases to provide opportunities for upselling.
* Work with Client Services team to carry out the activities through the client life-cycle to increase renewal rates by volume and value.
* Work with Team Leader to develop and implement client sales plans for products and territories to meet your sales targets.
* Identify opportunities to upsell and upgrade.
* Create proposals and sales pitches for new products to upsell existing clients.
* Update the CRM to ensure it accurately reflects your sales activity through the buying stage to move Leads and Opportunities to Closed Won or Closed Lost status.
* Ensure your clients have signed contracts and orders are processed in accordance with GDPR regulations.
* Provide feedback to the product development team.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively on the phone, by email and in person to senior stakeholders.
* An aptitude for working towards deadlines and succeeding in a target-driven environment.
* Ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
* Self-motivated team player that can exceed goals and revenue expectations, with the ability to work on their own initiative whilst building positive and rewarding working relationships with both colleagues and stakeholders.
Desirable, but not essential:
* Knowledge of the legal sector or professional services is desirable.
* Experience of managing CRM systems efficiently.
* Previous experience selling solutions within the legal or professional services market.
* 1+ years of B2B sales/account management experience.
