A fantastic opportunity is available for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dedicated and supportive team. This role involves all aspects of nursing, including theatre work, inpatient care, nurse consultations, and assisting colleagues to ensure the highest standards of patient and client care. The nursing team plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of the practice and the well-being of the animals treated.
This is a full-time position based at the main practice, working a variety of shift patterns. There is a requirement to cover 1 in 6 Saturdays, but there are no out-of-hours or bank holiday commitments, ensuring a great work-life balance. The salary is dependent on experience, and applications are welcome from both experienced nurses and new graduates looking to start their careers in a supportive environment.
The practice consists of three branches, with excellent facilities including a dental suite with x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory. The team takes pride in their rabbit welfare accreditation and feline-friendly status, demonstrating a commitment to providing top-quality care. With 10 vets, six registered veterinary nurses, and five receptionists, the team fosters a supportive and collaborative working environment.
