As a resilient retail Change Specialist with effective Merchandising/Buying/Sourcing/Manufacturing (Factories), Planning experience, you will be responsible for mapping, planning, managing, and delivering the roll-out of new transformation/change Sourcing, Buying & Capacity Planning processes and capabilities.
Priorities will lie across the 'Supplier Relationships and Capabilities' value stream within the Home and Clothing Transformation. This stream focuses on introducing processes, data, and reporting tools to make strategic and operational buying/sourcing and planning decisions, improving our end-to-end value chain strengthening our strategic suppliers' relationships, enhancing our suppliers, product design, innovation, and sourcing/planning capabilities.
We are looking for an established Portfolio Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for E2E project portfolio, balancing capacity and demand, ensuring alignment across programmes including owning cross programme dependencies/connections. Responsible for sequencing work aligned to business priorities, standardising the approach, surfacing the key risks and dependencies. The role is ultimately accountable for delivering the strategic objectives of the business through a balanced and strongly aligned portfolio of programmes.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
* You will develop a good understanding of all our programmes and projects, gather information on their critical path and what dependencies they have on each other, and put together a clear roadmap to feed into the governance.
* You will optimise and run the Portfolio level governance, engaging our wider stakeholders by collecting, analysing and presenting progress information.
* Through your honest and collaborative approach, you will ensure the leadership team are fully behind the portfolio, are actively championing portfolio management and empowering a capable team.
* Ensure the C&H project management framework, stage gate process and templates are clear, with supporting guidance and best practice examples.
* You will be the governance keeper for E2E guiding the Programme Managers throughout relevant process (business case submission, CRs, PIRs, etc...) & ensure best practices are followed.
