Key Responsibilities

* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
* Collaborate with the school's support staff and therapists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Provide regular progress updates to parents and carers, maintaining open and effective communication throughout the academic year.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, behavior, and attendance, using data to inform instructional decisions and drive improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

* A strong background in teaching and educational psychology, with a focus on special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Proven experience working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
