Morgan Hunt is currently working with a College based in West London in search of a Permanent Event Producer.
The role offers a great variety in the key tasks varied from student recruitment events to open days.
The position plays a key role in meeting the annual student recruitment numbers.
Role: Event Producer
Contract: Permanent
Pay: Up to £35-£37k p/a
Location: West London
Key responsibilities of the new Events Content Producer:
1. Ownership of the College's events schedule including but not limited to open days, exhibitions, talks, briefings, performances, and all immersive events.
2. Project manage both small and large events from start to finish, using project management skills.
3. Sourcing competitive quotes and researching the best suppliers, including venues for quality and price. Liaising with all suppliers including external partners and venues to ensure the best service and successful delivery for each event.
4. Plan on-site logistics to ensure the best experience for our guests while always following and enforcing health & safety procedures.
5. Liaise with communications, marketing, and branding colleagues to ensure the best and most suitable promotion for each event. Lead on scheduling and coordinating with necessary teams on timings for invitation design, communications, and media relations activity.
6. Create event schedules and brief all necessary teams including staff, beforehand and on-site to ensure teams are working well together and the successful delivery of the event.
7. Be available to work events that may fall outside of your working hours. When required, take the lead on-site and do all that is required to deliver a successful event, providing the best customer service to our guests.
Previous experience of the new Events Content Producer:
1. Understand and comply with Safeguarding legislation and ensure that best practice is embedded in all working practices as required.
2. Extensive experience working in an events position, preferably in the education sector.
3. Experience working with a number of internal and external stakeholders while carefully prioritizing a number of tasks to meet tight deadlines.
4. Great IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
