Role & Responsibilities:
* Cultivate and sustain relationships with prospective global clients, aligning efforts with business strategies and organisational objectives
* Proactively engage potential global customers, securing contract commitments for the agency’s services
* Drive the annual strategic growth plan, focusing on new business development by identifying and targeting high-potential clients, uncovering key market opportunities, and crafting strategies that capitalise on the agency's unique strengths
* Act as an ambassador for the agency at key local and global events and conferences as well as other relevant networking events to enhance visibility and build a strong network of contacts
* Drive the entire sales lifecycle independently - from identifying and qualifying leads through desktop research to pitching, negotiating, and closing contracts
* Design and implement strategic approaches to acquire new global clients and expand business growth
* Oversee and nurture global accounts during their early growth phase, strategically managing them until an Account Director or equivalent is assigned
* Maintain an in-depth understanding of the agency’s services to identify global client challenges and recommend tailored solutions
* Stay informed about industry trends and competitive dynamics by participating in key conferences and events
* Build and maintain an extensive global network within the industry, keeping abreast of competitor activities and market developments
* Forge strong relationships with global procurement teams in client organisations to maximise participation in RFIs/RFPs
* Support the Global Business Head or equivalents in the development of RFP responses, deliver RFP defences, and drive the conversion of opportunities into partnerships
* Agile with evolving role of AI in healthcare and medical communications, and spot opportunities for cross-selling/upselling
Requirements:
* High level of drive, motivation, and initiative
* Ability to motivate, lead by example, train, mentor, develop and share best practices
* Strong background in procurement and client relationship management, with a focus on retaining and expanding strategic partnerships
* Proven leader and collaborator, experienced in cross-functional teamwork and influencing key decision-makers
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Ability to problem-solve effectively and make decisions
* Awareness of industry guidelines and best practice and their application
* Experience working in a similar Healthcare Advertising agency
