Description This role supports the Planning Team to ensure the Inbound flow of product into the network is aligned to the Commercial demands, so availability and sales are maximised. This will involve maintaining PO integrity, supporting with the delivery of reductions in the number of PO changes, and analysing and redirecting M&S.Com PO's to improve lead times thus improving efficiency and avoiding any unnecessary costs to the Business NB: To stay close to customers, our support teams work from our Paddington office at least three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected. The salary on offer for this position is £25,000 to circa £28,000 dependent on experience. Working with the Transition, Origin and Commercial teams in ensuring availability is not compromised during such times and adhering to project costs Who you are Your skills and experience will include Knowledge of the fundamentals of Supply Chain Planning (forecasting, planning, logistics operations, sourcing) and Freight and Logistics operations Ability to use Excel / Power BI reports to interpret and analyse data, identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement An understanding of how Clothing & Home critical paths for new product launches and Buying and Merchandising processes work You will have great interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritise across multiple areas Comfortable liaising with different areas of the business at all levels and very much enjoy working as part of a team.
