End Point Assessor
For Customer Services
Location: Home based. Mostly remote with some visits as needed to see learners.
Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel to Birmingham, Coventry, and Leicester when necessary to see learners in person. Mileage will be paid up to a 115-mile radius from these locations.
Contract Duration: 6-month contract, with potential for extension or permanent placement.
Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm (flexibility available), with a 45-minute lunch break.
Equipment: Equipment provided (laptop, mobile, headsets, etc.).
Job Role:
1. Carrying out end point assessment activities and making decisions for apprenticeship standards.
2. Conducting assessments online and occasional workplace visits (expenses paid).
3. Planning meetings with apprentices and employers online.
4. Agreeing on a plan and schedule for each assessment activity within the end point window.
5. Marking in line with grading criteria for the apprenticeship standard and confirming completion of each element.
6. Determining the overall grade for the apprentice based on performance in all assessment activities.
7. Participating in standardisation and training activities.
8. Completing a full induction (2 days remote, 3.5 days in person, all paid for).
Essential Requirements:
1. Must be Assessor qualified (TAQA, A1, D32/D33, CAVA).
2. Experience as an end point assessor or assessor in customer services level 2 or 3 (e.g., retail customer services, call centre, blue light services).
3. Access to a vehicle is required.
